The exhibition is devoted to the hitherto unjustly omitted paintings and drawings by one of the most distinctive female representatives of Czech inter-war art, Vlasta Vostřebalová Fischerová (1898−1963). She developed on the epic drama following the lines of the proletarian art mainly represented by the Czech poet Jiří Wolker and, employing much fantasy and bizarre poetry, captured human estrangement and the most strenuous life situations.
